Education
We give vulnerable children in Maasai Mara access to quality early education — at the most critical stage of their lives. 52 children are already learning at Rekero Education Centre.
Clean Water
Safe water changes everything. We are working to bring reliable, clean water access to schools and families in the Aitong community.
Healthcare
We support community health initiatives that promote prevention, wellbeing, and healthier futures for every family in Narok West.
From a Church Floor to a Real School
This is what your donation builds. Not just a classroom — a future.
2019
Andrew Lenkume started the school under a church building in Aitong with just 14 pupils and one teacher. Children sat on the floor. There were no desks, no proper walls, no supplies.
2020
The school grew to two classrooms with 24 pupils and a second teacher. The community was proving that demand for education was real.
2025
Reto Foundation CBO was officially registered (No. CBO 0018803) in October 2025, giving the school a legal structure to attract donors and grow.
Today
52 children are enrolled, 5 teachers are teaching, 2 classrooms are running, and 3 more are under construction. Every child has a desk. Every child has a backpack.
Our Goal
100+ students, Full teaching staff, 5 classrooms running.
We Are Building Hope in Kenya
Reto Foundation is more than a charity — we are a community. What began in 2019 as a small school under a church roof in Aitong has grown into a registered CBO with 52 students, 5 teachers, and 3 classrooms under construction.
We focus on the earliest and most critical stage of childhood — because when a child gets the right start, their entire future changes. And when one child thrives, their community thrives with them.
We are a registered CBO (No. CBO 0018803), committed to transparency, sustainability, and real impact on the ground in Narok West, Kenya.
Bring Clean Water to Maasai Mara
In the heart of Maasai Mara, access to clean and reliable water remains a daily challenge for many families and children. Through the RETO Borehole Project, we aim to drill and equip a sustainable solar-powered borehole that will provide safe water for the community — improving health, education, and opportunity.

Lenkume Lenny
My commitment to delivering authentic experiences in the Mara and creating a better future for our young boys and girls led me to establish the Reto Foundation.
